Aquaphor Replacement filter B520 Pro
Replacement filter cartridge B520 PRO for cold water treatment suits the AQUAPHOR Viking prefilter housing.
The cartridge consists of two layers which provide both prefiltration and fine filtration. Rust, colloidal iron, sand, other visible pollutants, as well as dissolved impurities — chlorine, organic compounds, heavy metals, and other city water impurities — are simultaneously removed from tap water.
Innovative solutions in each filter layer increase the life of the B520 PRO by 50% compared to the standard B520-13 cartridge.
Prefiltration stage
The outer layer of the B520 PRO cartridge is made of activated coconut carbon and the patented fibrous sorbent of the Aquaphor microfiber absorbent family.
This unique composite filtration material retains particles up to 20 microns and has extended dirt capacity.
Carbon filtration stage
The inner layer of the B520 PRO cartridge is another AQUAPHOR own technology - carbon block made from high quality granular activated coconut carbon and ion-exchange microfiber Aquaphor microfiber absorbent.
The material filters out particles up to 5 microns and efficiently reduces dissolved impurities that can be found in city water.
Water purification
Combination of AQUAPHOR innovative technologies allows to have a superdense carbon block for deep water purification and conditioning.
This filtration stage efficiently reduces chlorine, chloroform, organic impurities, heavy metals, pesticides and other dissolved elements and compounds.
Increased dirt capacity
