Description
The electronic filter jug A500 is the first smart water filter jug for advanced tap water filtration. The J. SHMIDT A500 combines the deep purification capacity of a classic under-counter system with the portability of a water jug.
It is imperative to continuously improve the quality of our water treatment. We can do this by using higher density filters. Aquaphor already uses this technology in its under-counter systems. However, this filter technology was not applicable in a water filter jug, because gravity is not strong enough to push the water through a higher density filter.
Filtering
The A-500 offers high quality water purification.
It protects you from most threats in tap water such as toxic compounds, chlorine, pharmaceuticals and heavy metals including lead.
The A-500 also completely retains bacteria*.
Cysts of intestinal parasites are removed without the use of chemical bactericides.

Thanks to the APF (Air Pressure Flow) in the A500 system, it is now possible to create the pressure required for high-quality water purification. The APF technology allows you to use a dense filter module. The high-quality fibre combination AQUALEN with fine activated carbon and a hollow fibre membrane with a pore size of only 0.1 micron ensures microfiltration.
